We were attending Aston University for a weekend conference. We stayed in the accommodation as it was so convenient for the meeting area. The staff were efficient and friendly. The room was spotless and comfortable. We included the breakfast, which was a good decision as it was delicious and plentiful. The location is convenient for the city centre and set in the university grounds so pleasant for an evening stroll. Highly recommended.

I attended a conference at Conference Aston, l didn’t stay at the hotel but l did experience the catering, hence taking trouble to write this review. It was beyond excellent, a good range of food options, with special diets readily and willingly catered for. Generous offering of ‘bites’ with coffee again with ample choice for vegans & gluten free. An extra plus was thoughtful display of food offer which showed thought and care. The staff were accommodating and friendly. All round a really lovely experience which made me want to return for a holiday!

Excellent on all fronts. Friendly,warm helpful reception. Super clean. New nice facilities. Nice sized room. Lots of charging sockets. Easy to use lights. Big wardrobe. Yummy breakfast. Really good with kids. Amazing location for Conservatoire and v short walk to town/car park

I've stayed here three times now (my previous stay was reviewed on Google Maps but I decided to provide a review regarding my more recent stay). Yet again have I been blown away by this establishment. The staff are always so polite and kind, taking pride in their work. The housekeeping team have cleaned my room daily and go to so much effort to maintain the corporate standards this hotel sets. I really appreciate them and their work, they are all brilliant. The same goes for the other staff too including reception and catering. This time I stayed in a single room, and having experience with both singles and doubles, I can confirm that both types are of a good quality and layout. Arguably, I feel the single rooms have more space than the doubles, which makes them slightly nicer to stay in (especially as the extension lead provided is right by the bedside), but unfortunately you don't get a bath! The showers have improved so much since I last stayed. I don't know if they were upgraded or something, but the experience from using them was far more enjoyable. I can never fault the quality of the beds provided, and the placement of the TV makes it really easy to watch! I do have a small issue that a few people have mentioned but I've never seen an explanation as of why- the fire alarms seem to make a clicking/buzzing sound every time I stay like every hour or so, which jolts me quite a bit (I usually wear headphones or earplugs to avoid this. There's no other sounds in the room, I just hate this!) The breakfast is always good and I have never had an issue, apart from occasional cold bacon, but there has never been a hotel I have been to which hasn't had this issue and so I'm not overly bothered. Overall? Absolutely amazing, I look forward to returning.

Had the pleasure to stay here for a long time from feb - March whilst on a course. The hotel provided us with everything we needed, the rooms were basic but clean and fit for purpose. The conference rooms were very good and the coffee/cake etc were always on hand for breaks. The food was outstanding with a good variety to choose from, hats off to the chef. The gym was well equipped but choose your time wisely as it can be far far too busy and difficult to train. The location is central and easy to find However the staff made the stay, Every single one were welcoming and helpful. Reception, restaurant staff, bar staff all of them very helpful and polite. Special thank you to Adam and Katie who bent over backwards to assist with requests whilst at the hotel. They always helped and never complained
